At Circle Optics, we value creating a balanced and engaging work environment for our team. Recently, we hosted a unique Froyo-Yoga event that perfectly embodied our commitment to employee wellness and community building. The event featured a yoga session led by Jennifer Grow, a seasoned yoga instructor with 20 years of experience, followed by a delightful frozen yogurt treat for all participants.

Grow, who began her journey into yoga after her time as a gymnast, shared her inspiring story with us. She explained how yoga became her sanctuary after numerous injuries from gymnastics. “Yoga allowed me to express and love working with my body in a gentle way,” she shared. Her deep understanding of the practice, enhanced by her time at the Sivananda Ashram, brought a unique and calming energy to the session.

During the yoga class, Grow emphasized the importance of finding a way to quiet the mind through movement. “For me, yoga is a moving meditation,” she explained. Her approach resonated with many of us at Circle Optics, who found her method of combining breath and movement to be both relaxing and invigorating.

Grows’s ability to adapt her teaching to the needs of the participants was particularly appreciated. “I always read your body and work with what’s in front of me,” she said. This personalized approach ensured that everyone could comfortably participate and benefit from the session.

After the invigorating yoga session, employees were treated to a variety of delicious frozen yogurt flavors. This treat not only provided a refreshing end to the physical activity but also offered a chance for team members to socialize and relax.

At Circle Optics, we believe that taking care of our employees’ well-being leads to a more productive and positive workplace. Hosting wellness events such as the Froyo-Yoga session is just one of the ways we show our commitment. By integrating practices that nurture both the body and the mind, we strive to create a work environment where our employees can thrive.

In the words of Grow, “The whole point of yoga is to make space so that something new can come.” This philosophy aligns perfectly with our vision at Circle Optics—to create space for innovation, well-being, and growth. We look forward to more such events that not only benefit our team but also reinforce the core values that drive our company forward.
